This is one of my Spanish projects. We had to choose from a list of latino/latina celebrities and create a presentation for them. We had to answer basic questions like, where they were born, where they're from, what they did, all that kind of stuff. I chose to do Roberto Clemente, a Puerto Rican baseball player that held countless awards as well as MVP on 2 separate occasions. What I think made this project especially fun to present, was the fact that we had to do most of it in Spanish. I had a lot of fun doing that.
Why did you choose to show this work sample on your Portfolio?
I actually enjoyed presenting this one, especially because it was in spanish, and i thought this project was overall interesting.
How does this work sample represent a 21st Century Skill?
This project used my information skills, and global awareness skills. I was able to pertain and present the information needed. And I also learned even more about the Puerto Rican culture.
How does this work sample demonstrate your growth? Is there something you could've improved on?
Well some obvious improvements was that I presented in spanish, having spoken barely any spanish previously. Though I'm still not amazing, I still think I did a good job.
